Arte y Pico Award

This award is for blogs filled with art and creativity and was awarded to me by Aileen Clark Crafts. She invited me to join her Flickr Group - Handmade in Scotland - a few months ago so I owe it to her for widening my cyber space horizons! Its also great to see so many talented designers in Scotland - how come I haven't met you all before?!

~ there are some rules attached to this award and in passing it on to others they are as follows;
1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her/him the award itself.
4. The award winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of “Arte y Pico’ blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.

3: Little Cotton Rabbits - a great blog with an amazing amount of comments. Once you have seen Julies work and read her blog about life, knitting and her son you will be hooked
4: Softies Central - see the cutest things in the world here - so much it will make you want to explode with cutness!
5: Phatsheep Textiles - I love Suzannes work - a very modern take on a traditional craft from her home in the Shetland Isles.

There are probably a million more blogs that deserve an award and its lovely to receive one so early on in my 'blogging career'! Thanks x
